General Jagath Jayasuriya, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) paid a courtesy call on the State Minister of Defence, Hon. Ruwan Wijewardene this morning at the Ministry of Defence. During the discussions, CDS briefed the Hon Minister about the security situation and the functions of the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff. Following the discussion the CDS presented a memento to Hon Minister to mark the occasion.
