The newly appointed Chief of Defence Staff General Jagath Jayasuirya called on Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage, Commander of the Navy on 05th of August 2013 at Navy Headquarters.\r\n\r\nAfter a brief meeting on matters of bilateral importance both of them exchanged mementos.\r\n\r\nGeneral Jayasuriya assumed duties as Chief of Defence Staff on 02nd August 2013.\r\n\r\nDuring the meeting they discussed ways and means to work closely with the tri-services.
