CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF'S FATHER PASSES AWAY

Mr L H Creasy Silva the former Chairman of Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB), beloved father of the Chief of Defence Staff, General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil and husband of late Mrs Sumana Silva, was called to rest on 13 September 2022.

Late Mr Creasy Silva was 93 years of age at the time of demise. He was the former Regional Chairman of SLTB before he was appointed as the Chairman of SLTB from 1989 to 1993.

Remains of late Mr Creasy Silva lie at No 10, Rahula Mawatha, M.C Road, Matale and final rites will take place at 1630 hrs on Thursday the 15 September 2022 at the Matale Public Cemetery.
