CHINESE MILITARY DELEGATION CALLS ON THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF
A six member military delegation from People 's Republic of China, led by General Li Zuocheng, Commander of Chengdu Military Area of PLA China called on the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke on 14 October 2015 at the Office of the Chief of the Defence Staff.
The delegation comprised of senior military officers of Chengdu Military Area of PLA China namely Major General Wang Shenghuai, Major General Zhang Jiangang, Senior Colonel Du Junlong, Lieutenant Colonel Li Tao and Lieutenant Colonel Pan Xiaofeng.
During the cordial discussion, members of the delegation and the Chief of Defence Staff exchanged views on matters of bilateral interest and recalled the longstanding relations between China and Sri Lanka.
The meeting culminated with the exchange of mementoes to mark the visit.
