EXHIBITION TO SHOWCASE CRAFTSMANSHIP OF WOMEN SOLDIERS

An exhibition to showcase craftsmanship of 20 female soldiers of Tri Services, who completed a six months vocational training course, was held at the J.R Jayawardene Cultural Centre on 05th and 06th June.

Mrs. Nelun Goonetileke, spouse of the Chief of Defence Staff was the Chief Gust at the occasion. This course was arranged by the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff and it was conducted free of charge by Mrs. Swarna Premathilake. The certificates were also awarded to the course participants by the Chief Guest.
