NATIONAL DAY OF THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA IS CELEBRATED

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil, was warmly welcomed at the celebrations organised on the occasion of the 92nd National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The splendid celebration was held at Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo on 23 September 2022.

Sharing the strong bilateral relationships, the event was hosted by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Mr Khalid Hamoud Alkahatani. Honorable Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Dinesh Gunawardena gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest congratulated the Kingdom and the people of Saudi Arabia a continued success. The event was also attended by ministers, prominent dignitaries including foreign diplomats, and businessmen.
