NEW COMMANDER OF THE ARMY PAYS A COURTESY CALL ON THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF

The 24th Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu paid his maiden courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff General Shavedra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil on 03 June 2022.

During this courtesy call, General Shavendra Silva extended best wishes on the new appointment and shared a few thoughts with him.

Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage adding memories to the courtesy visit presented a memento to Chief of Defence Staff as a symbol of appreciation and goodwill before the Commander’s departure.
