A formal farewell party to bid farewell to the outgoing Chief of Defence Staff General Jagath Jayasuriya was held, at the Waters ' Edge Hotel on 17th June 2015. Chief of Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Goonetileke and Mrs.Roshani Goonetileke hosted the function. Commander of the Army Lt Gen AWJC De Silva & Mrs. Nayana De Silva, Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral SAMJ Perera & Mrs.Shalika Perera, Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal GP Bulathsinghala & Mrs. Samanthi Bulathsinghala, Inspector General of Police NK Illangakoon, Director General Civil Security Department Mr. Pallegama & Mrs. Lakshmi Pallegama, Officers of the OCDS and their spouses were present at the occasion.
