OUTGOING DIRECTOR, DEFENCE SERVICES COLLEGE MEETS THE CDS

Major General Wajira Palihakkara (Retd) VSV USP upon his relinquishment of the appointment, Director of Defence Services College, Colombo (23 December 2022) paid a cutesy visit to General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) at his office today (28 December 2022).

Recalling the golden memories of the glorious past in this esteemed organisation, CDS invited him to share his knowledge and experience with the younger generation when required for the betterment of the organisation and the country at large. General Shavendra Silva commended the exceptional service of this senior officer rendered to the Defence Services College during his tenure as the Director of the college to uplift the standards of the school to a higher level.

The friendly discussion culminated with the presenting of a memento to the outgoing Director of the Defence Services College along with best wishes for a brighter future.
