ADMIRAL RAVINDRA WIJEGUNARATNE CHIEF GUEST AT 'FOX HILL SUPERCROSS 2018 '
Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne was the Chief Guest at the Fox 'Hill Supercross 2018 ' held on Saturday (21 April, 2018) at Diyatalawa.
Fox Hill Supercross is the most anticipated motor sport event in the country and is held for the 26 consecutive year since its inauguration in 1993.
This year 's motor rally consisted of 12 motor car and 12 motorcycle events. Defending Champion Ashan Silva retained the champion 's cup in the motor car category, while Ishan Dassanayake won the motorcycle category.
The motor event was organized by the Sri Lanka Military Academy at Diyatalawa in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Automobile Sports and the Sri Lanka Motor Sports Committee.
Chairman of the Sri Lanka Motor Sports Committee, Major General DDUK Hettiarrachchi and Commandant of the Sri Lanka Military Academy, Brigadier Priyantha Senaratne were also among the distinguished officials present at the event.
