THE AMBASSADOR OF INDONESIA TO SRI LANKA MEETS THE CDS

The Ambassador of Indonesia to Sri Lanka Her Excellency Dewi Gustina Tobing paid a courtesy visit to Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil today (03 August 2023).

Extending a warm welcome to the office, the CDS appreciated the courtesy gesture of the visiting diplomat. The cordial dialogue took place based on the advancement of Indonesia – Sri Lanka bilateral military relations, particularly in training. The discussion was also extended to take common maritime security related issues faced by both the island nations whilst assuring the highest concern.

Prior to departure, the visiting Ambassador left her special remarks in the OCDS Visitors’ Book and mementoes also were exchanged marking the event.
