BANGLADESH NATIONAL DEFENCE COLLEGE (NDC) DELEGATION VISITS OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF (OCDS)
A delegation of Bangladesh National Defence College (NDC), currently on a study tour in Sri Lanka, headed by Rear Admiral M Anwarul Islam visited the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS) on 17th September 2018.
The delegation comprised of 15 Army, 03 Navy, 03 Air Force and 02 Civil Service Officers. The Defence Attache of the High Commission of Bangladesh in Sri Lanka, Commodore Syed Maksumul Hakim was also present on the occasion.
During the visit the Head of the delegation, Rear Admiral M Anwarul Islam paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Staff, Major General NA Dharmaratne. They held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interest with a special focus on training.
The courtesy call was followed by a brief presentation on the functions of OCDS and defence establishments in Sri Lanka.
Mementos were also exchanged on the occasion as a gesture of goodwill.
