CDS MAKES A FAREWELL CALL ON THE PRIME MINSTER

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne made a farewell call on the Hon. Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today at Temple Trees.

Hon. Prime Minister extended his appreciation to CDS for the unparalleled service rendered to the country over 39 years of his military career.

Hon. Prime Minister also extended his best wishes to Admiral Wijegunaratne for his future engagements.

After a cordial discussion, mementos were exchanged in signifying the occasion.
