CDS WISHES ALL FOR A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil along with his spouse Mrs Sujeewa Nelson extends best wishes for the members of the Tri-Services and Police and their families a peaceful, happy, and prosperous New Year 2023.

General Shavendra Silva requested the members of the Armed Forces to be strong during these challenging times and to discharge their duties and responsibilities to the best interest of the motherland and its people to overcome the hardships the nation face today.

Recalling the memories of the gallant war heroes who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty and wounded in action, the CDS invited all to protect the hardly earned peace for the future generations with the dawn of New Year 2023.
