CHAMBER OF YOUNG LANKAN ENTREPRENEURS CELEBRATES ITS LADIES CHAPTER ANNIVERSARY

In parallel to the 25th anniversary celebration of the Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE), a Ladies Chapter Anniversary celebration was glamorously organized on Saturday (16 March) night at the Hotel Shangri-La, Colombo. The event was graced with the presence of the Managing Director of the Sampath Bank, Mrs. Ayodya Perera as the chief guest.

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil together with his spouse Mrs. Sujeewa Nelson attended the evening as the Guests of Honour at the invitation extended by the Committee of Management of the COYLE. Attending the occasion, General Shavendra Silva and Mrs Sujeewa Nelson commended the role of the members of the COLYLE Ladies Chapter for their dedication and commitment to advancing entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka.

The Ladies Chapter of the COYLE is a business information portal of the spouses of COYLE that strengthens informal relationships while collaborating on ventures and resources that generate new business opportunities.

The Chairperson of the COLYE Ladies Chapter, Mrs Kanchana Perera addressed the gathering warmly welcoming all attendees and thanked all members for their contribution.

Afterward, Mrs. Ayodya Perera, Mrs Rosy Senanayake and Mrs Sujeewa Nelson were invited to give away tokens of recognition for its members.

Addressing the gathering the CDS mentioned that ladies are the unsung heroes behind the success of entrepreneurs who provide unwavering support, encouragement, and love enabling their spouses to pursue determination with confidence. The CDS further expressed that proud ladies of the entrepreneurs who make the inherently solitary entrepreneurship a team effort with true partnership and collaboration in numerous ways sometimes being a listening ear at the end of a challenging day. Also, the CDS mentioned that even though the multiple roles and unwavering dedication are not visible or acknowledged most of the times, they are deeply appreciated and cherished by those whose lives you touch every day. He also extended warm congratulations to the Ladies Chapter Anniversary of the COYLE and its dedicated members.

Adding to the festivities, the event was enriched with a variety of entertainment activities, creating an atmosphere of celebration and camaraderie among guests.

The event was also attended by the Governor of the Central bank, leading entrepreneurs, members of the COYLE and many invitees from different fields.
