The retiring Air Vice Marshal Prasanna Balasooriya USP, MMS, MBA, MDS, BA (Defence Studies), MIM (SL), ndc, Hdmc, psc having discharged a successful office of tenure as the Director General Coordinating at the Office of Chief of Defence Staff, called on General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc Mphil, the Chief of Defence Staff at his office afternoon today (05 September).

During the affable meeting, the Chief of Defence Staff appreciating Air Vice Marshal Prasanna Balasooriya for the commendable job rendered to OCDS in the discharge of his duties; setting an example and galvanizing a higher level of cooperation and coordination among the Tri Services, Police and the civil organizations, presented an appreciative memento in recognition of his diligent professional ethics and valuable contribution to the premier Tri Service Headquarters.

Towards end of the interaction, General Shavendra Silva, expressed his best wishes for good health, success in all endeavours and happy retired life to Air Vice Marshal Prasanna Balasooriya.
