CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF CALLS ON THE HON PRIME MINISTER

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa, Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka today (29th November) at the Prime Minister 's Office. During this official meeting, the CDS conveyed his best wishes to the Prime Minster and pledged his unconditional support in ensuring national security concerns of the government.

During the meeting, cordial discussions were held on matters concerning to tri forces and current security situation in the country.

A special memento was also presented to the Hon. Prime Minister by the Chief of Defence Staff in signifying the occasion.
