CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF GRACES INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF COLLEGE OF MILITARY ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY SRI LANKA

General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil, the Chief of Defence Staff, attended the Inauguration Ceremony of the College of Military Engineering and Technology Sri Lanka held last evening (13 October 2022) at the Eagles’ Lakeside Banquet & Convention Hall, Attidiya.

At the invitation extended by the President of Executive Committee and all members of College of Military Engineering and Technology, the Chief of Defence Staff attended the occasion where the Defence Secretary, General Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc Mphil, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

The College of Military Engineering and Technology is operated with a counsel comprised of Defence Secretary as the Patron, Chief of Defence Staff as the Senior Vice Patron and Tri-Service Commanders along with Vice Chancellor of KDU as Vice Patrons of the organization towards its mission to be the premier combat Engineer Training Institution in Sri Lanka with international recognition, facilitating the professional growth of Tri Service officers and men in the field of Combat Engineering to meet all current and future combat engineer requirements of the Sri Lanka Army and other defence services.
