Chief of Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal KA Gunatilleke paid honours to all war heroes of Army, Navy, Air Force and Police who made the supreme sacrifice during the war at war heroes ' Memorial at Battaramulla on the evening of 15 June 2017 on his retirement. Mrs. Roshani Gunatilleke also joined the honours by placing floral wreaths in front of the Ranaviru Memorial.
