THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF VISITS NAVAL AND MARITIME ACADEMY
The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne paid an official visit to Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA) Trincomalee on 26 August 2018.
Admiral Wijegunaratne also served as the 25th Commandant of NMA from 2006 to 2007 and observed the training facilities and new developments being taken place.
CDS had cordial interactions with officers and officer undertrainees and also planted a tree in marking his visit to NMA.
