DEFENCE ATTACHÉ OF EMBASSY OF KINGDOM OF THE NETHERLANDS CALLS ON THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF

Defence Attaché at the Embassy of Kingdom of the Netherlands in India and accredited to Sri Lanka, Captain (N) Robert van Bruinessen called on the Chief of Defence Staff, General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil, on 22 September 2022 at the his office. The Chief of Defence Staff warmly welcomed and conveyed his gratitude to the visiting Defence Attaché for his thoughtful gesture and efforts put forward promoting the cordial relations between the two nations. During the cordial meeting, the bilateral matters of military interest were exchanged and possible training opportunities between two outfits were also taken up for brief discussion. The brief interaction came to an end with the exchange of mementoes to signify goodwill and cooperation. The Chief of Defence Staff invited the visiting Defence Attaché to experience the tropical beauty and the hospitality of the country during his stay in Sri Lanka.
