A DELEGATION FROM NATIONAL DEFENCE COLLEGE OF INDIA CALLS ON CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF
A fourteen-member military delegation from the National Defence College (NDC) of India paid a courtesy call to Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne on 28 August 2018 at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS) at BMICH.
Major General SC Mohanthy AVSM, Chief of the Directing Staff, NDC heads the military delegation currently in Sri Lanka on a study tour from 26 to 29 August 2018.
The Chief of Defence Staff extended greetings to the delegation and exchanged views on the progress of on-going training programmes of the respective armed forces. The call-on culminated with an exchange of mementos between the officials.
The courtesy call was followed by a brief presentation on the functions of OCDS and defence establishments in Sri Lanka.
