A DELEGATION FROM THE NATIONAL DEFENCE COLLEGE OF INDIA VISITS OCDS

A sixteen-member delegation from the National Defence College (NDC) of India, currently on a study tour in Sri Lanka headed by Major General Uramkumarath Suresh Kumar, YSM, VSM visited Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS) today (27th Aug).

During the visit the Head of the delegation, Major General Uramkumarath Suresh Kumar paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne and held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interest with a special focus on training.

The courtesy call was followed by a brief presentation on the functions of the OCDS and defence establishments in Sri Lanka.

Mementos were also exchanged on the occasion as a gesture of goodwill.
