DEPUTY CHIEF OF RUSSIAN NAVY PAYS COURTESY CALL ON CDS
The Deputy Chief of the Russian Navy, Chief Staff Rear Admiral A. Shtukaturov paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS), this morning (10 October, 2017). A cordial discussion was held between the two officials on matters of mutual interests in military cooperation. In addition, the ensued talks also focused in enhancing bi-lateral cooperation with emphasis on training and exchange of expertise and experiences. Subsequent to the discussion held, mementos were exchanged marking the occasion. The Military, Air and Naval Attaché to the Embassy of the Russian Federation, Colonel Dmitry A. Mikhaylovskiy was also present during the discussion.
