DEPUTY CHIEF OF RUSSIAN NAVY PAYS COURTESY CALL ON CDS
The Deputy Chief of the Russian Navy, Chief Staff Rear Admiral A. Shtukaturov paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS), this morning (10 October, 2017).
A cordial discussion was held between the two officials on matters of mutual interests in military cooperation. In addition, the ensued talks also focused in enhancing bi-lateral cooperation with emphasis on training and exchange of expertise and experiences.
Subsequent to the discussion held, mementos were exchanged marking the occasion.
The Military, Air and Naval Attache ' to the Embassy of the Russian Federation, Colonel Dmitry A. Mikhaylovskiy was also present during the discussion.
