DIRECTOR GENERAL OF JOINT TRAINING SUDAN ARMED FORCES PAYS COURTESY CALL-ON CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF
A Sudan military delegation led by the Director General Joint Training, Sudan Armed Forces Maj Gen. Isam Mohamed Hassan Karar paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne this morning (18, Sep).\r\n\r\nThe courtesy call was paid at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff at the BMICH, Colombo.\r\n\r\nMilitary matters focusing on training aspects and the possibilities of joint training were also discussed during the discussion. Subsequent to the discussions held, mementos were exchanged marking the occasion.\r\n\r\nMaj Gen. Isam Karar is an experienced Armoured Corps senior officer of the Sudan Army who has also served as the Commandant of the Sudanese Armoured Training School. The Sudanese military delegation is on a five day visit to the island and is also expected to visit Sri Lanka’s premier military training establishments before leaving the country.\r\n
