DISASTER RESCUE OPERATIONS CENTRE ESTABLISHED AT OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF
In view of the recent weather conditions in the country Disaster Rescue Operations Centre was established at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff, functioning around the clock with effect from PM hours on17th May 2016 on the directives of the Ministry of Defence.
This Operation Centre is functioning as the main contact and coordination point of tri - service rescue operations in conjunction with the Disaster Management Center (DMC) enabling, the public to contact it in the event of any eventuality.
