THE EXTENDED GENEROSITY TO A MEMBER

A generous donation of a gift parcel was made to the outgoing member of the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS), Corporal Wijesinghe WS of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment today (19 January 2023).

The soldier who is a father of four kids were given these gifts by considering his economic background and the two twin babies who saw the light recently. The parcels were consisted of stationary items for the schooling kids and nutrients including milk powder for the newborns.

As per the guidance of Mrs Sujeewa Nelson, the Precedent of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the OCDS, the valuable gifts were sponsored by the Seva Vanitha Branch of the OCDS and presented to the beneficiary by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil.

The event was also attended by the senior officers of OCDS.
