GENERAL ROBERT B. BROWN COMMANDING GENERAL, HEADQUARTERS, (USARPAC) FORT SHAFTER, HAWAII, CALLS-ON CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF ADMIRAL RAVINDRA WIJEGUNARATNE
General Robert B. Brown Commanding General, Headquarters, U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) Fort Shafter, Hawaii who is currently on an official visit to the Island with a delegation paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne on Monday (23rd July, 2018) at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS) at BMICH. He was accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Hess, the Defense Attaché of the US Embassy. A cordial discussion was held between the delegates on matters of mutual interest and defence cooperation. The two officials also discussed matters related to maritime security cooperation in the region. Mementos were also exchanged subsequent to the discussion. General Robert B. Brown assumed command of the United States Army 's largest Service Component Command, U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC), 30 April 2016.
