GENERAL SHAVENDRA SILVA IS INVITED TO THE COLLEGE OF PALLIATIVE MEDICINE OF SRI LANKA

At the cordial invitation extended by the President and the council of the College of Palliative Medicine of Sri Lanka to the induction ceremony of the Second President of the college, General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP psc ndc MPhil, the Chief of Defence Staff, graced the occasion as a Guest of Honour on 08 October 2022.

The induction of the new President was held at the Jubilee Ballroom, Galleface Hotel and the Chief Guest of the evening was the Ambassador of Brazil in Sri Lanka. Commencing the proceedings of the programme, the outgoing President welcomed the invitees and guests to the event. Marking a milestone in the CPMSL, the college website was also launched and opened for the public.

The event was also graced by ministers, diplomats, and prominent personalities.
