ISRAEL DEFENCE ATTACHE CALLS-ON THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF
The outgoing Defence and Armed Forces Attache of the Embassy of the Republic of Israel in Bangkok accredited to Sri Lanka, Mr. Dan Carmel paid a farewell courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS) today (04 July, 2018).\r\n\r\nMr. Dan Carmel is due to complete his term of diplomatic assignment as a Defence Attache and has consistently being representing the Israel on various occasions of defence dialogues and symposiums in Sri Lanka. He was also accompanied by Mr. Alon Yehoshua who would be relieving the former as Defence Attache.\r\n\r\nA cordial discussion was held between the officials.\r\n\r\nDuring his farewell meeting with the Chief of Defence Staff, Mr. Dan Carmel reaffirmed Israel 's commitment towards bridging bi-lateral defence cooperation with Sri Lanka.\r\n\r\nSubsequent to the discussion held mementos were also exchanged marking the event.
