The Japanese Defence Minister Itsunori Onodera who is on a brief official visit to Sri Lanka, attended a Wreath Laying Ceremony at War Memorial Cenotaph in Viharamahadevi Park, Colombo in the afternoon on 21st in remembrance of the military personal who were killed in action during the two world wars. The Cenotaph contains the names of those killed in the Great War, while the Memorial Wall behind it maintains the names of those killed in the Second World War.
