NATIONAL DEFENCE COLLEGE DELEGATION FROM UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA CALLS ON THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF
A sixteen member delegation from the National Defence College (NDC) of United Republic of Tanzania arrived in Sri Lanka on 29 May 2016 on a seven day overseas study visit.\r\n\r\nThe delegation led by Major General (Rtd) Festo Ndewiro Uiomi, Senior Directing Staff Air 2 of National Defence College Tanzania called on the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke on 1st June 2016 at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff.\r\n\r\nThe delegation proceeded to attend a briefing on the Tri Forces employment and security situation of the country. This was followed by a discussion with Chief of Staff, Director Generals and Directors of the OCDS. The discussion culminated with the exchange of mementoes to mark the visit.\r\n\r\nThe delegation comprised of Tri Service senior officers from South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia, Namibia and Malawi besides Tanzania.
