NATIONAL DEFENCE UNIVERSITY (NDU) DELEGATION FROM PEOPLE 'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA CALLS ON THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF
A forty two member delegation from the prestigious National Defence University (NDU) of People 's Republic of China arrived in Sri Lanka on 07th December 2016 on a four day overseas study visit. A cross section of the delegation comprising fifteen Chinese officers including one lady officer led by Major General Wu Shuli, Director of Administration of National Defence University, People 's Liberation Army called on the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke on 08th December 2016 at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff. Head of the delegation was accompanied by Senior Colonel Li Chenglin, Military, Naval and Air Attaché of the Embassy of the People 's Republic of China in Sri Lanka. The delegation proceeded to attend a briefing on the Tri Forces employment and security situation of the country. The discussion culminated with the exchange of mementoes to mark the visit.
