Sri Lanka Navy accorded a guard of honour to General Jagath Jayasuriya, the Chief of Defence Staff when he visited the Navy Headquarters to make the farewell courtesy call on the Commander of the Navy on 15 June 2015. The CDS thanked the Commander of the Navy for the assistance extended to him during his tenure as the CDS. General Jagath Jayasuriya is due to hand over the duties to Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunetilleke on 16 June.
