OFFICIALS OF NATIONAL RADIO AND TELECOMMUNICATION CORPORATION PAKISTAN MEET CDS

A high-level delegation headed by Brigadier General Muhammad Asim Ishaque, Managing Director of the National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) of Pakistan paid a visit to Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil on March 13th at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS).

The visiting delegation conducted a comprehensive briefing on modern technological advancements in the Electronic Warfare domain particularly emphasizing Electronic Counter Measure Equipment and Surveillance Systems produced by NRTC Pakistan.

The NRTC is a major defence contractor and provider of electronics, management, and technical services in both the public and private sectors. The NRTC is a leader in national electronics industry, engaged in the design and development of cutting-edge technologies through its Research & Development in Pakistan. The organization has been instrumental in advancing technology for Pakistan's Armed Forces.

The CDS thanked the visiting delegation and explained the requirements of the Sri Lankan armed forces offering valuable insights.

Further, General Shavendra Silva extended a warm invitation to the visiting delegation to explore the enchanting island, renowned for its abundance of cultural heritage and serene ambiance.

The delegation extended their gratefulness to the CDS for the valuable time and insights.

As a gesture of appreciation and camaraderie, the head of the Pakistani delegation presented a symbolic memento to General Shavendra Silva. In return, General Shavendra Silva reciprocated by presenting mementos to members of the visiting delegation marking the occasion with mutual respect and goodwill.
