OUTGOING BRITISH HIGH COMMISSIONER PAYS FAREWELL CALL ON CDS

The outgoing British High Commissioner in Sri Lanka His Excellency James Dauris paid a farewell call on the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS) today (09th July) before his return to the United Kingdom on completion of his four years of tenure in Sri Lanka.

Admiral Wijegunaratne expressed his gratitude to His Excellency James Dauris for the diligent support extended during his tenure at office in reinforcing the bilateral defence relations and cooperation between the two states.

His Excellency James Dauris also expressed his gratitude to the CDS and Sri Lanka Armed Forces for all the support extended during his tenure.

Subsequent to the discussion held, mementos were also exchanged marking the event.
