OUTGOING COMMANDER OF THE NAVY MEETS CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF
The outgoing Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Admiral SS Ranasinghe, paid a Courtesy Call on the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Admiral RC Wijegunaratne at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff this evening (31 December 2018).\r\n\r\nDuring the cordial discussion held, Admiral SS Ranasinghe expressed his gratitude and appreciation to CDS for the assistance and cooperation extended in carrying out his duties as the Commander of the Navy. CDS also appreciated the valuable service rendered by Admiral SS Ransinghe towards the betterment of the Navy and the country through his 36 years long illustrious career and expressed his best wishes for his new life up on his retirement. \r\n\r\nSubsequent to the discussion, a Souvenir was presented to Admiral SS Ranasinghe in signifying the occasion.\r\n\r\n
