PAKISTAN HIGH COMMISSIONER PAYS FAREWELL CALL ON CDS

The High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka His Excellency Dr. Shahid Ahmad Hashmat paid a farewell call on the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS) today (04th October) before his return to the Pakistan on completion of his tenure in Sri Lanka.

Admiral Wijegunaratne expressed his gratitude to His Excellency Dr. Shahid Ahmad Hashmat for the diligent support extended during his tenure at office in reinforcing the bilateral defence relations and cooperation between the two states.

His Excellency Dr. Shahid Ahmad Hashmat also expressed his gratitude to the CDS and Sri Lanka Armed Forces for all the support extended during his tenure.

Subsequent to the discussion held, mementos were also exchanged signifying the occasion.
