U.S. DEPUTY ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF DEFENCE FOR SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST ASIA MEETS CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF
The U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence for South and Southeast Asia Dr. Joseph H. Felter paid a courtesy call on Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS) today (13th October 2017). They held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interest. Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Hess (US Army), the Senior Defence Official/Defence Attaché was also present at the occasion. Mementos were exchanged subsequent to the discussions held. Dr. Felter serves as the principal advisor to senior Department leadership for all policy matters pertaining to development and implementation of defence strategies and plans for the region.
