VISITING PAKISTAN ARMY DELEGATION CALLS-ON THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF
A military delegation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne, Thursday (21, Sep) evening, at the OCDS premises in Colombo.
The visiting Pakistan Army delegation was led by Major General Hafeez Ur Rehman.
The Chief of Defence Staff following a discussion round with the Pakistan delegation on matters of mutual interests conveyed his gratitude to the Nation of Pakistan for the unwavering support extended to Sri Lanka. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan is a leading military training/aid facilitator of the Sri Lankan armed forces.
Subsequent to the discussion held, mementos were also exchanged signifying the occasion.
