WELFARE TO THE DESERVED IS CONTINUED IN THE NEW YEAR

The social duty of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS) was continued in the new year 2023 with the ceremonial distribution of dry ration packets to the 175 needy families who reside in Kuppiyawatta area on 09 January 2023.

This much needed welfare endeavour was organised by Mrs Sujeewa Nelson, the President of the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff Seva Vanitha Branch and was sponsored by Mrs Geetha Kodithuwakku who is a residence of USA in celebrating her mother’s 94th Birthday in a meaningful manner. This process is also coordinated by Mr Senaka Senavirathna, from New Jersey, USA. The donation consisted of dry ration parcels that is included rice, noodles, flour, tea powder, salt etc.

The event was attended by the members of the Kodithuwakku family, staff of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the OCDS.
