NEW CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF AIR CHIEF MARSHAL KOLITHA GUNATILLEKE ASSUMED DUTIES ON 16 JUNE 2015
Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke RWP and bar VSV USP MSc (Def Stu) in Mgt, MSc (Def & Strat Stu) ndc, psc, qfi newly appointed Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) assumed duties on Tuesday (16) morning as the fourth CDS at his office, Colombo 7. Major General Jagath Rambukpotha Chief of Staff of the OCDS, senior officers were present at the occasion. After placing his signature for an official document, the new Chief of Defence Staff symbolized the formal assumption of duties.
