In a poignant tribute to the late Brigadier Disna Edirisinghe, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil paid his last respects at the residence of the departed senior officer on 27th December 2023. The Director of Engineer Services at the Directorate of Engineer Ser ices at Army Headquarters, Brigadier Edirisinghe, passed away suddenly on Sunday (24) evening after a brief illness at the age of 52 years.
